Oil obtained by steam distillation of flowering tops.	Warm, spicy-herbaceous, mint odour.

General Description

Spearmint Essential Oil. A perennial herb, the properties of Spearmint are similar to Peppermint, but its effects are less powerful. Spearmint is better adapted to childrens maladies. Useful for tummy upsets (use to gently massage the abdomen diluted in carrier oil). Good for congested skin, teenage skin.

Historial Background

Used by ancient Greeks as a restorative and to scent their bath water.

Safety

DILUTE TO 5% OR LESS IN A CARRIER OIL BEFORE SKIN APPLICATION. KEEP OUT OF EYES. DO NOT SWALLOW.
