Rose Otto Steam Distilled is technically an essential oil.
Essential oil is obtained by steam distillation from fresh rose petals.
Superior fragrance
Deep rich sweet floral scent.
Antidepressant, antiphlogistic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antiviral, aphrodisiac, astringent, bactericidal, choleretic, cicatrisant, depurative, emmenagogue, haemostatic, hepatic, laxative, nervous system sedative, stomachic and a tonic for the heart, liver, stomach and uterus.
Rose Oil has at least 300 known constituents. Rose Otto has more citronellol and geraniol than Neroli and Rose Maroc.
Rosa damascena Flower Oil
The Greek poet Sappho in the 6th century BC described Rose as being the 'Queen of the Flowers'.
Dilute in a carrier oil before skin application. Keep away from children and out of eyes. Do not take internally or apply undiluted to the skin. For further advice on using essential oils to treat medical conditions, we recommend you seek advice from a professional.
