Extraction Description	Scent Description
The volatile oil obtained from the steam distillation of the plant. There is also a resinoid obtained by solvent extraction.	Warm and rich, spicy balsamic aroma.

General Description

Myrrh Essential Oil. Used in incense and perfumes. A revitalising oil. Non-irritant/non-sensitising. Can be used as an astringent and anti- wrinkle agent in creams and carrier oils.

Historial Background

Mentioned 3700 years ago in ancient history when Greek soldiers would carry it into battle to treat wounds. Localised skin irritations, where the skin is not broken.

Anti-microbial, antiseptic, fungicidal.
