Volatile oil obtained by steam distillation of the leaves of the herb.	Warming & woody smell.

General Description

Marjoram Essential Oil. Muscle ease when used diluted in carrier oil as massage - useful for muscles after gym and sports activities or a hard day's gardening. Good to use last thing at night. Handy oil to add to a carrier for a PMT, eases period pains (compress on abdomen).

Historial Background

Traditional cullinary herb and folk remedy which gets its name from a greek word meaning "joy of the mountains".

Properties

Relaxing, calming, fortifying and warming. Sedative properties.

Constituents/Active Ingredients

Terpinenes, terpineol, sabinenes, linalol, carvocrol, linalyl acetate, ocimene, cadinene, geranyl acetate, citral, eugenol, among others.

Safety

DILUTE TO 5% OR LESS IN A CARRIER OIL BEFORE SKIN APPLICATION. KEEP OUT OF EYES. DO NOT SWALLOW. NOT FOR USE DURRING PREGNANCY.
